Finishing up this years jobs and starting to plan the future. Reading, researching, building a business plan etc. Came across this wonderfully expressed post. It’s really comforting to know someone, if not everyone, understands the struggle.

It’s time for Fall Family Photo Season. Here are some ideas to help you dress your best for better looking photos. Work together to find complimenting tones and colours.
I’ve been enjoying the warm weather we’ve been blessed with, taking to trails (and neighbours’ gardens *sssshhhh*) collecting the remnants of plants past.
Taking a break from photographing people, I’ve taken a liking to the quiet practice of botanical still lifes.

I’m glued to my computer tonight working on a shoot I recently did for Janine Adamyk Bridal Couture.
Janine pays careful attention to her choice of fabrics and lace. Also impressive is her ability to blend both traditional feminine style and delicate modern details within the collection.
Check out her beautiful designs at www.janineadamyk.com and keep your eyes open for the addition of the new line in the weeks to come.

I had the pleasure of working with the ever so lovely Megan of Duffield Design, shooting her fall/winter line. Here are a couple sneak peeks. Big thanks to Marley and Tristen for their beauty and Gillian for the wonderful hair and makeup!
You can check out Megan’s designs on her website and read about her dedication to eco-friendly clothing @ http://duffielddesign.ca/

I have a few images, from a poor little roll of film that was subject to a light leak and neglectful development, which I had disregarded until today. I think I’m going to embrace the flaws and make the best of it, a lot of tweaking ahead of me. Might just be better than if it had come out perfect!
